Sydney Mitchell, LCSW
Sydney grew up in a big family in the Chicago Land area, sparking her interest in people and relationships. She received her Bachelor's in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2018 and her Master's in Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2020. She is a Licensed Clinical Social worker and a Social Emotional Learning Specialist who does independent work for Chicago Public Schools. Previously, she worked in inpatient and outpatient services at a behavioral health hospital.
Sydney has a deep love for holistic mental health and helping people connect with themselves to improve their connection with their lives and the people around them. She believes in creating an extremely safe and supportive environment to facilitate a healing environment for clients to thrive. She values the use of compassion, mindfulness, and connection between mind and body that allows for relationships between her and clients to form in a gentle and nurturing way.

Dr. LaConyer Davis, EdD, LPC, NCC, CADC
Dr. Davis is a native Chicagoan, growing up on Chicago's Westside and educated in Chicago Public Schools. She received a BA from UIC in 2000 in African American Studies focused on Social Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University in 2012. Dr. Davis completed her Doctoral internship at the Illinois Criminal Justice Authority Act where she worked on research of municipal workers and their knowledge of the elderly community.
In addition to teaching classes at CSU, Dr. Davis also serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor. Dr. Davis has worked as the Behavioral Health Training Coordinator and Crisis Therapist at Stroger Hospital (Cook County).
Dr. LaConyer Davis began her career at CSU August 19, 2021 in the Psychology Dept. Dr. Davis teaches Psychology and Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counseling courses. Her research interests are in the areas of Racial and Ethnic Identities and Historical Trauma.

Diana Raimondo, MBA, LPC, MA Cousneling Psychology
Diana has 22 years of experience helping individuals and teams reach their full potential in work and life. She has worked at Walt Disney World, Chicago Transit Authority, Honeywell International, Loyola University Chicago, Exelon Corporation (ComEd), and Accenture. She has an undergraduate degree in Human Resources and Psychology from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, MBA from Creighton University, and an advanced certificate in Organization Development from Loyola University Chicago.
Diana has the following professional certifications: MBTI, Six Sigma, ECI (Emotional Competency Inventory) from the Hay Group, 16PF (Personality Factors) from IPAT. She believes that when we focus on our natural strengths, the sky is the limit.
Additionally, Diana does family coaching in an effort to help members better understand each other's natural strengths and talents. She does this 1-on-1 as well as in a group forum. Her personal mission is to make a positive, lasting impact!

Nicole Givens, LCSW
"Nicole grew up in the Chicago land area raised by a single mom who was a social worker. Throughout her childhood, she was exposed to the field and found her love for supporting those who need it most. Nicole graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2018 with her bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology. Nicole later graduated from Loyola University of Chicago in 2021 with her master's in social work. She is now a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Nicole has experience working in a hospital setting in various levels of care, such as inpatient psychiatry and outpatient programs, and completing intake assessments. Nicole also works in a law enforcement setting in a position focused on helping integrate mental health care into the daily duties of officers.
Nicole believes in providing a safe and healing space for her clients. She hopes to help people work to understand themselves and their lives on a deeper level and to help improve their quality of life. She has experience working with all ages and various disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Nicole believes managing symptoms is a holistic task involving all aspects of an individual's life. She has experience teaching CBT, DBT, and utilizing principles of ACT. She believes in building trusting relationships with her clients to foster change in their lives."
